Pastor Neylon Samuel

Baytown United SDA Church | Mount Olive SDA Church

Pastor Neylon Samuel’s journey of faith is a story of transformation, answered prayer, and a deep passion for leading others to Christ. Born in the beautiful islands of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, he moved to Brooklyn, New York as a teenager, where he first encountered the love of Jesus in a personal way. This experience ignited a passion for ministry that has shaped his life ever since.

A graduate of Atlantic Union College and Andrews University, Pastor Samuel has devoted over 20 years to pastoring in the Greater New York Conference. His ministry has spanned the diverse communities of the Bronx and Long Island, where he’s been blessed to share the gospel, build relationships, and serve alongside countless wonderful people.

In 2021, Pastor Samuel answered God’s call to serve in the Southwest Region Conference. He now pastors Baytown United SDA Church in Baytown, Texas, and Mount Olive SDA Church in Port Arthur, Texas, where he continues his mission to create a church environment centered on prayer, grace, and genuine connection with Christ. For Pastor Samuel, his ministry is about more than just preaching; it’s about walking alongside others in their journey toward the Savior.

He is the host of Daily Manna & Prayer, a global virtual prayer ministry that brings together believers from all over the world to pray, share, and encourage one another daily. Prayer is the foundation of his ministry and his life, as he believes that true transformation only happens through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Pastor Samuel is blessed to share his life with his wife, Rhonda Samuel, of 24 years, and their two sons, Zachari and Jeremi. Together, they strive to live out their faith with joy and serve others with humility.

Pastor Samuel’s life verse is Zechariah 4:6:

“Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit, says the LORD Almighty.”

His deepest desire is to see others experience the life-changing power of God’s love, and he is committed to leading the church to be a light of hope in the world.
